Placenta praevia frequency in women with previous caesarean section

Background: The placenta may be situated fully or partially to the lower uterine section, which is known as praevia. Although it seen in first trimester well, often occurs second third trimester. Placenta praevia main cause for antepartum hemorrhage vaginal bleeding. Objective: To assess frequency women with previous caesarean section. Methodology: current study was cross sectional study, carried out at Obstetrics and Gynecology department, Category D hospital Ghara Tajik duration of six months from July 2022 December 2022. All data collected a pre-designed proforma. analyzed by using SPSS version 24.00. Results: In totally 120 participant were enrolled. Based on age distribution, 96 (80%) participants ranged 20-32 years whereas 24 (20%) patients 33-45 years. overall previa diagnosed ultrasound By stratifying parity, significant association observed (p=0.001).
